ABOUT
Hi! I'm Lani, and I am a public school teacher, instructional designer, education researcher, musician, and artist. I began my teaching career in 2019 as a middle school teacher at a Title I school in Los Angeles Unified School District, after graduating as a first generation college student from Stanford University with my Master's in Education and teaching credential.
Since then, I've also earned my Master's in Instructional Design and have taught 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 7th grade, all in public schools. I work hard to create meaningful learning experiences for my students. In addition, I volunteer as an instructional designer and eLearning developer at a mental health non-profit, and as a learning designer at a tech charity. I am very passionate about providing free, accessible education to diverse learners in my community and around the world!
I create custom faceless portraits (with calligraphy) to fundraise towards supplies and materials for my teaching/classroom.

NOTES
⭐ All portraits will come with multiple background color versions - as many as you'd like. (See examples below of the same couple with different colored backgrounds.) You may request the colors you'd like and/or I can pick ones that look nice depending on your clothing colors.
⭐ Upon request, I can also include versions with calligraphy on the portrait (free of charge) like the "love" examples below. Just let me know what you'd like the text to say (e.g. names of the people, a special date, "Happy Anniversary", etc.)! Scroll down to see close-up versions of my calligraphy.
⭐ When your portrait is ready, I will email you the high quality digital files. This allows you to be able to post them on social media and/or order prints! I usually order canvas prints online from CVS Photo since they always have amazing discounts.
